Pray For Wirral

Pray For Wirral

The next Pray for Wirral event will be taking place in late 2012.

You are invited to an evening of conversation and inspiration. Come to meet with local police neighbourhood officers to discuss ways of working together for the good of the community.

The evening builds on the city-wide event at the Echo Arena in June 2009, but this time with a local focus.

Chief Constable Bernard Lawson writes: “Merseyside Police continues to successfully reduce crime and disorder and increase levels of public confidence. However, my staff have to deal with difficult situations on a daily basis. This can include anti social behaviour, violence and criminality involving guns and knives. I would like Merseyside Police to work closely with faith groups and networks to develop relationships, projects and support to provide hope in such situations.”

‘ROC Conversations’ will bring churches and police together to identify projects which already exist and to kick start new ideas.

Please come along- together we can make a real difference.
